PRITHVI THEATRE is in intimate theatre, built in 1978, dedicated to being a catalyst for the development of Theatre and Theatre Audiences. Set in the heart of Mumbais suburbs, the Theatre with its open-air Cafe, and eclectic Book Shop, is a warm, inviting space, a relaxed hangout and a vital breathing space in the bustling city of Mumbai. Prithvi Theatre hosts over 630 performances with and average audience of 80% annually - along with the annual Prithvi Festival in November, the Summertime Season of Plays & Workshops for Children and the Memorial Concert designed & performed by Ustad Zakir Hussain.
